When should we book services?

We would recommend booking as soon as possible, but generally we can work with 1-2 weeks’ notice or so. However, we can also work to accommodate short notice requests as well.

Why choose LoveCats?

Great question! We recognize that you have choices in which services you book. We truly believe that we are uniquely qualified to give you and your fur family a great experience. Our owner Samantha has been working with cats for decades from veterinary offices to large cat sanctuaries to in-home cat sitting just like this. She is licensed, bonded, insured and certified in pet CPR and first aid.

Additionally, we are a small and professional team of cat lovers who are responsible, reliable, communicative and dependable. You can always count on LoveCats to deliver top quality cat care services, and you can rely on sitters who genuinely want to create a relationship with your cats and build long term trust.

Can sitting services be shared with my own friends/neighbors/family members?

We would prefer to be the sole provider of services not only for reasons relating to our insurance, but to ensure your cat family is eating well, and displaying no concerning health issues. If you plan to have someone entering your home during your trip, let us know what is going on and we will gladly talk it through with you!

My cat is on an auto feeder, are every other day visits possible?

Will I see status reports of my cats while I am away?

At LoveCats, it is our priority to ensure your cat family is safe, healthy and happy while you are away. We require visits at least every 24 hours to ensure the safety and overall well being of your cats.

Absolutely! We believe that the experience should be just as good for you, if not better, as it is for your cat family! We will provide photos and visit reports with every visit.

Do I need to provide house keys? Can I use a lock box?

We will collect your house key(s) upon meeting with you ahead of the sitting dates. If you would prefer, you may leave them in a lock box and we can pick them up and return them directly to your box. Depending on your preferences, we can also keep the key(s) securely on file for next time or return them after you’re back home.

What methods of payment are you able to take? When is my payment due?

We are happy to accept most payment options. Payment is due at the start of services. All payment options are listed at the bottom of your invoice for your convenience. We accept Venmo, Zelle, Google Pay or Paypal.

What is your cancellation policy?

Non holiday cancellations at least 48 hours in advance are not charged any sort of cancellation fee. 24-48 hours in advance are charged at 50%, 24 hours notice and less are charged at 100%.

My cat is on medication, is this a problem?
